Ana lives in a slum setting on the outskirts of Rimini. Despite being only a 9-year-old girl, her childhood is denied her by her mother Tamara, who, in order to survive, takes her with her during her apartment burglaries. But during a failed heist, a glimmer of light seems to open up for the child, the possibility of a normal life.
